View from a Bridge

On Wed. evening, we decided to walk over the bridge. There is a "tourist" activity called the Bridge Climb that actually entails climbing along the topmost arch of the bridge, all harnessed up and hooked onto a cable. No jumping allowed!! But I thought perhaps the view from the pedestrian walkway would be sufficient. No need for scary heights and gusting winds for me. And indeed the view was great, more pictures of the Sydney Opera House of course. So, first the bridge as viewed from the International Terminal at Circular Quay.

This is the International Terminal with a HUGE ship in port, took the bridge picture from the black viewing structure to the right of the ship.

Tom gazing out over the harbour... notice the protective fencing, no jumping into the harbour, or jumping into traffic!!

Looking straight up through the bridge, see the Austrialian flag?

A couple more great views of the Opera House and two ferrys going out.

The government house nestled in the beautiful Botanical Gardens behind the Sydney Opera House.

The neighborhood across from the Sydney Opera House.

An old church in the middle of the city buildings.
